Important Regalia Information
Renting regalia is required to participate in commencement.
Mines Bookstore is "going green" by providing rental graduation regalia for all Bachelor, Master, and PhD candidates. Rental regalia is not only "greener", but it is also less expensive than the previously used "souvenir gowns".
Cap & Gown Rental Prices
Bachelors: $34.99
Masters: $64.99
PhD: $54.99
Please keep in mind that "souvenir gowns" WILL NOT MATCH the nicer rental gowns and cannot be worn.
Associate and Bachelor's rentals include a gown, hat, and tassel. The rental gown is returned on-site immediately after commencement. The hat and tassel may be kept as mementos.
Master's rentals include a gown, hat, tassel, and hood. The rental gown is returned on-site immediately after commencement. The hat, tassel, and hood may be kept as mementos.
PhD rentals include a gown, hat, tassel, and hood. The rental gown and rental hood are returned on-site immediately after commencement. The hat and tassel may be kept as mementos.
