Textbook/Course Material Return Policy
(Subject to Change. See store for details)
Last day for textbook refunds typically coincides with drop/add deadline.
New Textbooks--Last day for textbook refunds for the current semester will be posted at the Bookstore. Do not write in a new text until you are sure you are going to keep it! If texts are shrink-wrapped or sealed in any manner, be sure to save all the wrapping and contents for a full refund. New books that are written in, damaged, missing components, have unusable website pass codes, or are altered in any will be considered used and will be refunded at a lesser price during the refund period. Do not remove any tags or barcode labels, this may result in damage to the text.
Used Textbooks--Used books are made available whenever possible and are your best buy--20% less than new price! When purchasing used texts, be selective. The SDSM&T Bookstore strives to provide quality used books, but you must realize that these books have been used and the bookstore is not responsible for any missing pages or defects after the refund period is over. Inspect your used books thoroughly prior to the end of the refund period. If you have a defective used text, we will try to replace it with another used copy. If a used text is unavailable, you may purchase a new text paying only the difference in price (during the refund period).
E Books/Electronic Pass codes--Refunds cannot be given if a pass code/access code/web key has been compromised.
If you have questions concerning the textbook return policy, please speak with a member of the Rocker Shop staff.
